Nicknames: *MY REAL NAME IS GIZMO SCOTT!* But some of my nicknames are Gizzy, Giz, Teddy Bear, Son, Poopy Puppy, Gizzy-Moe, and a lot more!
Doggie Dynamics:
Likes: First I love my mom, any people, and other dogs. I also like being outside, eating everything, swimming in the summer and going for car rides with the sun-roof and windows down!
Pet-Peeves: I hate when people ignore me. I'll start walking back and forth and start barking softly, while looking up at you to get your attention.
Favorite Toy: My fave toy is my teddy bear, named Blue. I've had him since the first day at my home and I sleep with him every night.
Favorite Food: All food is my fave! Right now I am loving Cheez-Its and Gold Fish, though.
Favorite Walk: Around the neighborhood with Daisy & Buster.
Best Tricks: I know what, sit, come, mommies home, treat, wanna go bye bye, let's go, k we're done, stop it, pee-pee, poo-poo, outside, wanna go see Buster, wanna go on a walk, get water, get your Blue, get it, bring it, good boy, and let's go wake up bubba means.
Arrival Story: My husband and I really never wanted a puppy in the house, but the kids always bugged us about getting an inside dog. We didn't grow up with dogs in the house, so we didn't want one inside. But that changed when we went to our friend's house. Her neighbor (we know them too) had them outside and my husband ran over there. We really wanted a girl, but we fell in love with the boy, now Gizmo, and asked her how much she was selling them for. She told us that they were just giving them away for friends and family but, she said that she thinks they were all spoken for. So we said ok. The next day, my kids kept bugging and bugging me to call her, so I did. She said that she talked to her husband and that they were all spoken for, but she had another litter coming in September. So we got really excited when she said we could have one of those puppies. A couple weeks later my husband called to talk to her husband and she said that they had one boy left. Of course, we drove over there. And it was the boy that we really liked, now Gizmo! So we said yes yes! We brought him home that day, on June 5th 2006. We aren't really sure if the person that really was supposed to get him decided not to, but we know they totally missed out. Gizzy is such a sweet puppy and is friendly to everyone. Everywhere we go, people always say, "That's that one of the friendliest dog I've met!" He really is the best present we have ever received.
Forums Motto: Spoiled and Lovin' It
I've Been On Dogster Since:
Woo-hoo! One of my very good friends, Mischief, Thanksgiving tagged me! Thank you Mis! ;)
Here are the rules:
Because it’s Thanksgiving time, there is a change to the rules.
Each player needs to tell seven special things they are
thankful for. Tagged dogs must post the rules in their diary
and their 7 things. Then choose 7 pups to tag and list their
names. Let them know by pawmail or rosette that they have been
tagged and to read your diary for the instructions on how to
play.
Seven Things I’m Thankful For:
1. I'm thankful for my mom and all my family.
2. I'm thankful for my home and food.
3. I'm thankful for my teddy bear Blue, who always wants to sleep with me!
4. I'm thankful for all my wonderful friends here on Dogster. I wuf you all! ;)
5. I'm thankful for my treats and the human food the people sneak to me around here. ;)
6. I’m thankful for my best friend and little sister Daisy Mae, when I'm scared, she's always there for me!
7. I'm thankful for MY big bed... I just let my family use it. ;)
No one is sure where I learnt it from, because they didn't teach me, but they would always say it, so now I know what it means! Well, I know what "Mommies home" means! When either of the kids hear mom coming home, they say, "Mommies home!" And Daisy and I RUN to the front door leading into the garage. I guess they have said to so much, I now know what it means. Everytime they say it, we run for the door! We know our mommy is home now. :)
Oh No! Mom and the kids shouldn't of went into Pet Smart yesterday. BOL! Here is what happened...
They went to pick up human brother's car from Circuit City because he was having something installed. Well, Pet Smart is right next door to Ciruit City, so when they we're done they decided to go into Pet Smart. And when they were walking in, this older couple were walking out with the one of the CUTEST Shih Tzu puppies mom has EVER seen! Of course mom stops them and talks to the women about Gizzy and I.
The man decides to let the little puppy down. Her name was Isabelle Brooke (cute name, right?) and she was VERY tiny for 8 weeks old. Anyways, the puppy comes walking to mom, and mom picks her up. Isabelle starts giving her kisses on the face, and mom is IN LOVE! BOL The women said she bought the little girl in Yukon for $350, mom almost asked to give us the lady's number where she bought her from, but then decided NOT to, because if she had the number, she would definitely have to go look at the puppies, and there would be no way mom could say "No." BOL!! Thank goodness!!!!
Anyways, we thought we would share our puppy fever story. We are not getting another pup. The "puppy fever" should go away in about a week and a half. hahah!
