Arrival Story:
We adopted Tyson from the local "NO KILL" shelter. We had been looking around off and on for another dog to keep Lacey company. One day I opened the newspaper and there was Tye's picture. The shelter was featuring him on their adoption page. Right away, I knew this was the dog for us. I don't know how I knew that, but I did. We called about him and the following day, we took Lacey in so she could meet him with us. They got along wonderfully and so the adoption process began. The only tense moment was when we had to wait for our landlord's ok to adopt another dog. We are renting a house right now. She wasn't too keen on the idea of another big dog in her house, but we struck a deal with her and she said YES! Tyson is a big, happy go lucky, anything goes dog. He is a great addition to our family. As you can see by the picture, he loves to get on my lap! Nothing compares to having a 75 pound lap dog! LOL!
