I got a new bone for Xmas that I absolutely adore... It was as long as me when I got started, but now it's getting really small!

I have simple tastes, I like Purina Dog Chow, and of course- whatever food I can snitch from my family... HEHEHE!
Favorite Walk:
Through the golf course, playing all nine holes. OOps!!!
Best Tricks:
I wasn't trained at all when I was adopted so mom has an extra hard time with me... I am letting her think that I know the difference between my toy ball, my bone and other toys though.
Arrival Story:
My husband and I went to the OAHS just to look. We saw Petey, and fell in LOVE almost instantly! Petey took me for a walk, and it just felt right.
He moved right in with us and met his two new brothers, Pud and Ozzie, the cats. Petey LOVED them, but they were very hesitant to warm up to this big boy.
Update to Petey's family:
One of Petey's older brothers (Ozzie the cat) passed away after being ill for a number of months. Petey misses him sooo much that we had to find him another kitty. We adopted Oliver from the OAHS in October, and Petey is back to his old self again. Oliver seems to think that he is Petey's pet more than ours, but the relationship they have together is soooo cute! I will try to post a picture soon.
Bio:
Petey loves to run around the back yard like a wild dog. He chases anything that moves... Other dogs, people, toys... You get the picture! And he looks absolutely hilarious doing it too!

I heard mom and dad making "awwww" noises, and saying something like... snowball... I wasn't really paying attention; I was trying to nap. A week or so later, I figured out what all of the noises where for. They took me back to the shelter they got me from and asked me to play with a doggie that was there. I didn't quite understand why, but went along with it anyway. A few days later they left together and came home with the little dog that I had played with at the shelter.
I have doggie friends visiting me all of the time, so I didn't think anything of it until they set up a kennel with a new blanket, and asked me if she could stay. Of course I said yes... Look at her, she's adorable... and her name doesn't even begin to do her justice...

Today is awesome so far!!!! I got to play outside for over an hour while Mom and Dad were taking apart a car.
Then Mom decided to go pay some bills and she took me along. I love rides!
After that Mom and I cleaned the house a little, and she went to her banks. The bank ladies think I am adorable :)
I ended up getting 3 treats!!! Mom still has two of them because she doesn't want to ruin my dinner... Can't wait for desert....!

This is only my first Xmas holiday with my new parents, Matt and Annie, but I can see I am going to like it already.
Mom said that I have to wait until Xmas to get my presents when she caught me sniffing around the tree. A few days later, something changed her mind... Could it be the adorable "puppy dog" face I have been giving her???? I'm not sure!
She broke down and is now giving me one of my gifts everyday!!!! Am I lucky or what?!?!?!?!
