Major ball-hound! Would play fetch over eating treats. Also really liked having her hips rubbed while laying on her back - rararararar!
Thunderstorms, and being left alone - managed to jump out of a friends 2nd story window during a storm once, and ran the streets of Golden until we could find her.
Tennis balls, basket balls, golf balls, soft balls, rubber balls, squeaky balls - you get the picture
Bizzy had been abandoned in Golden with a litter of 13 pups at the age of 9 - left with no food or water presumably to die. My husband found her (not knowing she was a pit bull) and we tried to help her and her pups (only 3 survived, they found good homes). We treated Biz for her nasty infections, malnurishment, and understandable distrust of humans. (The vets said she had been horribly abused - broken bones and stabbing scars.) When we bought our first home, she came with us and became our girl. Biz was our first dog.
OK, all you pit lovers out there - you know what I mean when I say that Biz was the most loyal, kind-hearted, intellegent, sweet, compationate, tolerant dog on the face of the earth. She was a force of nature, changing lives everywhere she went. I even took her to school when I was teaching - she would sleep under my desk and the troubled teens I worked with would curl up with her and tell all their secrets to her. She never told anyone. Any bad rap that this breed gets should be directed to OWNERS, not the dogs! She changed my entire view of the breed and will forever be in my heart as the Best Dog Ever. Biz left us in April 2001 to go hang in God's garden.
Best dog EVER
