Arrival Story:
Sherman, (yep, as in “Sherman Tank”), was rescued in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, taken in by a rescue in another state, and then brought back to Louisiana when it was discovered that the supposed “rescuer” was seriously bad news. Poor Shermie!! Fortunately, he has a rock solid temperament and is an all-around happy, affectionate and fun-loving guy, despite what he’s been through. He’s now safely in foster care here in Indianapolis, looking for a permanent and loving home. Will it be yours?
Sherman loves everyone - kids, adults, dogs, etc. He’s exuberant, athletic, and eager to please – he’s taking basic obedience and is a star pupil! He will be a wonderful dog for any active, loving person or family.
Bio:
I just started basic obedience with him and he's incredible. We're thinking about doing some agility work - he is SO athletic!
