Arrival Story:
Sophie came to us through another family that just couldnt keep her anymore. I've never adopted an adult dog before and so far, she's wonderful and EASY!

Bio:
On June 9,2010 we all got up, Sophia wouldnt eat her food....not terribly unuusal but she wouldnt take a treat either. I made her scrambled eggs, something she normally loves....she wouldnt eat those either. I picked her up and told her mommy loves her, that she is beautiful, and that tomrrow mommy was going to take her to the doctor. I told Caitlin to give her some canned food a little later and went to work for 9am. Around 11 am Caitlin called me saying she'd gotten out of the shower and Sophia wasnt breathing. It was too late to do anything. we lost our darling little Sophia without warning. We thought her ears were bothering her, had no idea. I am grateful my last words to her were how very much I love her, I came home from work, Caitlin had her wrapped in a towel on her bed. I sat and held her and cried and told her again what a good girl she has always been for us and how loved she is. There is a huge hole in our hearts and lives right now.... We will never forget this little white bichon girl who came into our lives at 6 years old and immediately it seemed she had always been with us.
