Winnie's Diary

Bark in the Park

Last weekend Mom, Dad, Charlie and I took part in the Bark in the Park, a 5K walk to benefit the Anti-Cruelty Society. We had a lot of sunshine and a nice long walk by Lake Michigan. About half way through the walk though Charlie and I had to take a break to get some water and roll around in the grass. There's nothing like a good roll in the grass on a sunshiny spring day.

Charlie and I were really pooped after the walk so we curled up together in our beagle bed and took a long nap.

The Big Comfy Bed

When I went to live with my Mom she tried to make me sleep in a crate! I didn't think it was very fair that Mom was sleeping in the big comfy bed and I was in a stupid crate. So, I wore Mom down by howling and crying until she let me sleep in the big comfy bed. Now I sleep in the big comfy bed everynight! Sometimes I even sleep under the covers with my head on Mom's pillow!
