2. Let the neighborhood know if a stranger comes through!
3. To kiss as many friends as possible - don't want anyone to be left out!
4. To let my family know just how much they are loved!

4 places you have lived:

1. Lowell, MA
2. Lowell, MA
3. Somewhere, Manchester, NH

Name 4 places you have been:

Letter to Santa Paws

Dear Santa Paws,

It has been on my mind that you may have misconstued some of my actions as of late. I have decided to clear things up with you.

Yes, I admit that I have on occasion taken a nibble or several from the kitties' dishes. Even you have to admit, however, that with all of the food recalls and such, that it was a rather selfless action on my part to sample what was being set before my kitty sisters to make sure their meals were safe.

As to taking away Reilly's chewies, all I have to say about that is he just doesn't understand the reason for saving for a rainy day. If he chews up all this stuff immediately, what will he have left to chew on tomorrow?

I think that it has also been mentioned by you that I might take up more than my share of mom and dad's bed. I'm sure you are aware that they bought a bigger bed this year, and I feel that it is only right and just to save some space for the other furblings just in case they decide to join us at night. Mom and dad have mastered the art of clinging precariously to the edges, why mess with success? Now the kitties, Reilly, as well as the kitties and pup from upstairs, on occasion, have plenty of room because of my nightly vigilance.

So Santa, as you can see, there is no reason for any upset on your part because of my actions. I am and have been a very good beaglie since your visit last year. I will leave out cookies and milk for you and carrots for your reindeer.

Love, Keeva

P.S. If there are only crumbs left, Reilly might have gotten hungry.

Love Tags

My wonderful friend Peanut sent me a lovely surprise this morning with a Love Tag. The tough thing about a Love Tag is you have to return it, but to only 3 others. Do you know just how many of you are so deeply in my heart? Ok, if I don't get you today, it'll be another day.

1. Jill. I adore Jill's sweetness of just being Jill. She is quick to offer encouragement, and she is such a reminder that tomorrow is always a new and better day, no matter what trials might be waiting there for you. For the lessons learned from Jill, that's why I love her.

2. Buddy Todd. BT is a fun and silly pup who's absolute beaglie nature gets him into some real pickles. He has also been able to bring beaglie life back into his mom's world, something she had been missing, pickles and all. And I love him for that. Cuz that's what beagles are all about.

3. Mike. Mike has been one of my friends from the beginning of my time on Dogster. He is wonderfully creative, always on the lookout for a good time, and a lady with pretty legs. He can be silly, but it is most important to him to keep the Snoop ideal appealing to every beagle, not just a select few. But most of all, I admire his tenacity, it can't be easy to be a leg short, but he's always out there, playing the crowd, with the biggest grin in the Snoop nation. For that, I love him.

The Early Beaglie Catches the Bird

Mom went out to the store this morning to get trash bags, and was hurrying home to get the trash out for collection (great planning mom!), and when she got home, I was barking and arrrroooing like nothing before! She, of course not understanding beaglie too well, was getting a bit ticked off at me. When she finally came to the front of the house, I had trapped a starling in the living room behind a door! No idea how it got in, but in it certainly was! The kitties were just sitting by patiently, like nothing was wrong, Reilly was all excited, cuz I was excited, and I was going nutso! Mom was able to catch it in a towel and let it go, but I'm still sniffing all over the place trying to find it.

New Home

Well it's finally done. We are officially finally moved into our new house. The stacks of boxes are slowly being emptied, and I'm not so afraid of mom losing me inside of them.

I'm getting a lot more comfortable in the new place now, too. I don't keep asking mom to bring me home - meaning the old house. It's actually a lot of fun being able to run upstairs or downstairs - the space here is pawmazing! And mom is saving pennies to complete the fence so there will be no need for a run or lead when we're out in the yard.

All I can say is, at least we're all together. Reilly, the kitties, the hooman family, wow. Life is grand, ya know?

Hiya pups! My pal Scooter tagged me and now I'm it. I get to choose 7 of my pals to tag.

Here are the rules:

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!

Here are 7 fun facts about me! Introducing, Keeva Jeanne!

1. It was my honor and pleasure to serve as first Queen of Snoops
2. It gives me great pleasure to remove the stuffing from my squeeky toys.
3. I love to walk as frequently as possible. Too bad mom has old knees and can't keep up as well.
4. I sleep every night curled up with Mom and take a bigger part of the bed than her.
5. I like to steal pizza and hide it.
6. I love to kiss faces. I am very cuddly and loving.
7. I get very excited when I catch the scent of a squirrel. Dad says I sound like one of my squeaky toys when I do.
Pass on the fun...

Hugs, Keeva

Three Weeks Til Spring!!!

Spring is in the air! I can feel it as I wander over the large blocks of ice that remain in the yard and on the sidewalks. I just can't wait until it all melts and there's nothing left but nice mud where the snow once lay. I know dad really loves our run-and-drags through the boggy park. I know that mom really doesn't mind about the paw prints on the rugs. They enjoy the change as much as I do!

Twas the Day Before Christmas

Twas the day before Christmas, when Keeva did say
Reilly, I want my beagle friends to come here to play.
Said Reilly to the beagle, "What, you are too much!
So many beagles to have here for lunch."
"Brother, don't worry, maybe they'll stay for the night.
They can sleep on the couch, though the fit will be tight.
Santa Paws will find us, our friends all together
Dreaming of feetball in nice sunny weather.
He knows we are loved, we have families who care
But other pups aren't so lucky, it just isn't fair.
So Reilly, my brother, please say a prayer.
For all the doggies out there, we don't even know where.
Maybe Santa will find them and place them in homes
Where they too will be loved and given some bones."
Merry Christmas to Snoop Doggs and families so dear.
We wish you were with us, in our hearts you are near.

Deck the Paws

Here we are, smack in the middle of the Christmas season, and as busy as you can expect. Mom has been busy on the 'puter, and I have a hunch that she's finding special treats for us! Next week is caroling with the church. I don't understand why, but my AAArrrrooooo's aren't being allowed to join. I think I could add so much, ya know? There has been a lot of talk about a tree going up...don't really understand what that's all about, but it seems like an interesting idea. Maybe the tree comes with squirrels! Can't wait to find out.

Busy as a Beagle

It's going to be pretty busy at Snoop Doggs for the rest of the month! We are in the midst of planning a musical presentation - I think we're leaning toward doing Grease. I definitely plan on auditioning. I certainly don't have long blond hair like Sandy, but maybe I could find a wig. It doesn't much matter, though. Any part would be great. Kate, my 2-legged sister says Grease is over done, but I'll bet it's never been done by beagles!

My 3 month tenure as Queen is coming to a close. The campaign season is now underway and there are some terrific candidates for King and Queen. The new Royalty will be crowned at the end of the month. I wonder if we'll have another Coronation Ball?

I'd better go take a nap now. Just thinking of all that's coming up is making me sleepy. 'nite!
