Arrival Story:
Lenny was abandoned by travellers. We origionally went to the rescue to adopt a Border Collie...but how could we not fall in love with Len? Even people who hate dogs have fallen for him!...I now can't believe I ever thought I could cope with a Collie, deffinatly not the breed for me

We are unsure of Len's exact age, but we think we adopted him when he was 5-7 which makes him 10-12 now. He settled in with us straight away and we have never had a problem with him. He has always been a nervous dog, esp around large or coloured men. But since adopting Harry in June 05 he has been a changed charachter...he even barked at the window cleaner when he came into our back garden without knocking the other day! I now do awareness work for Greyhounds and Lurchers abandoned by the racing industry and work full time for a local rescue shelter

Dooley reserved & Staffie pup gone

The little Staffie has gone to her new home and is now called "Poppy". Mum was allowed to cuddle her for the first time (as she has been isolated for 7 days) and she says she's really sweet and not at all nippy, just wants to cuddle!
Dooley the sweet little Staffie girl has been reserved. They're a nice couple who live out in the country and have always had Staffies or Labs. They bonded with her straight away and mum thinks it will be a brilliant home. The only issue is that the lady's mum has a very bossy Golden Retriever who can be a bit temperamental with other dogs but he will have to get on with Dooley as they go on trips gogether quite a lot, they are bringing him down next week to meet her.
Tyler the Staffie rehomed 2 weeks ago is having a check tommorow, if you remember there was an issue with a mysterious bruise on his leg so the manager wants to visit him to see how he's doing. Will keep you updated.
