A weekend of reunions and first meetings

So, this passed weekend me and Mommy went home to Granny and Grandpa's. I was pretty excited because this was the first weekend I would get to meet Peaches, Grandpa's new JRT puppy. She doesn't have a dogster yet but she will soon. Well, my greatest surprise was being able to see Eric, mommy's brother, she didn't even tell me he would be there. I wondered why she said she was taking me to PetSmart to walk around and get a dingo but we just rode for hours. I couldn't figure it out! But we finally arrived at Granny's and Mommy opened the back door and let me run in first! Eric was so happy to see me and I was so happy to see him! I just love it when I see him, I just whine and cry and act totally pitiful! Well, then Peaches was in Grandpa's chair and she didn't seem to happy. She was growling at me at first but then she fell in love with me! I mean...she can't help it. The whole weekend she was in my face the whole time! I was a little bit sick with an upper respiratory infection so I was sneezing everywhere but she didn't even care. This girl is CRAZY!!! She is very fast and bounces off of furniture with amazing speed. I was the biggest doggie there! Well, I went over to my great grandma's house and I got to see EVEN MORE DOGGIES!!! Sam, another JRT, was at Mema's and the newest addition to the family Sugar, a Bassett Hound puppy, was there. This little girl was so cute with her big ears and fat little legs! To make the weekend more exciting my Mommy's cousin Brandy brought Honey over. Honey is a JRT that is sister's with Peaches but Honey has short little legs. She is so cute! She was wearing clothes and styling and profiling. Honey and her family call Peaches "Paris" like Paris Hilton. My mommy and me brought Peaches a pearl necklace that mommy bought for Peaches in St. Louis. So, she pranced around the house in her little necklace. We had a great weekend with the family and with all of the pups.

It was good to be back home on Sunday night and I was so tired. Mommy and me hopped in the bed and slept the whole night and got up late on Monday and just spent the day together. It was a great weekend!

Father's Day weekend

Well, Jocosa and I ventured home with Mommy for Father's Day. It was just going to be me and Mommy but she just couldn't leave Jocosa to wait for Daddy, so we ventured out together. We stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's house and Mommy didn't make us stay in the crate.

We got up Saturday morning and headed to see Daddy at our other Grandma and Grandpa's house. When we got there Opal was there, thats our cousin. I got to ride in the back of a truck in true doggy fashion hanging my head out the side with my tongue hanging out. We ended up going to this big boat! Opal's Daddy, Lee, invited us to go out on the boat with him. It was my first time on a boat and I was so excited. Mommy sat on the back seat and I sat next to her...where I belong since I am practically human. While I sat there riding the waves Mommy petted me and even had to keep me sitting down. I was just so excited and wanted to see the water. We finally made it to our private island destination. It was totally cool. Before I knew it I got tossed into the water and made it to shore. Jocosa, Opal, and me ran up and down the beach and it was so fun. I mostly just stayed on the shore. Oh and I got a little prickly burr in my foot and cried out. Mommy thought it was just from me being on the hot sand. I was okay though.

Well, we spent a little while on the island...it was great. We didn't have to wear a leash or anything! We got back on the boat and headed back home. On the way Daddy got out of the boat and got on this thing called a knee board and rode behind the boat for a long time. I was so worried about him. I just whined and whined but I don't think he could hear me. A couple of times I almost jumped out of the boat myself! I ran from the front of the boat to the back of the boat and did this back and forth over and over again. Mommy told me it would be okay and that Daddy would come back. After a while he finally did and I was so glad to see him.

On Sunday I got to play with a little puppy named Sam. He is a tiny JRT and he was pretty cute...until he tried to take my bone. My grandpa kept holding him and I was getting jealous. When I would turn away Sam would run toward me and bark...silly pup! He is only like knee high to a grass hopper but he has big personality...just like me! Jocosa didn't get to see him which was probably good. Grandpa and Mommy thought I was getting too rough with Sam but I was just playing!

We had a great weekend with Mommy, Daddy, Grandma (both), Grandpa (both), Lee, Bri, Opal, Gordon, Mema, Papa, Lydia and Sam! I can't wait to see all of them again...especially Grandpa Roy and that little Sam!

Did I mention I got a little sunburn? Not as bad as Mommy but it was a little pink. Granny told her she should put me on some sun block before we left...but Mommy didn't know what kind would be safe. I just hope I won't peel because I want to keep my tan. Remember Cows are Pals!

Last night

Last night I got a new harness for when Mommy and Daddy take me walking. It is blue with white flowers on it. I know flowers aren't so manly but at least it was blue right? I got to try it on and walk around in it and it was pretty cool. I can't wait until I get to wear it for a walk. Oh and Mommy and Daddy tried to get me into the shower last night...but I resisted. I know its about time for me to get a bath because my white isn't so white anymore. I am sure they will make me take a shower this weekend! Oh and I am so scared to go outside. Daddy put up this bug zapper in the backyard and everytime it zaps the bugs it freaks me out. I wonder if anypup else has this problem.
