My partner is allergic to dogs but really loves them. So, we wanted to get a dog that was not too allergy producing. When a poodle was suggested, I was mortified. I didn't think I could be seen with a poodle, and images of poofy dogs with painted nails and perfume ran through my head. Not to mention, we live in an old hippy/mining town in the mountains and "everyone" has what we lovingly refer to as a "mountain mutt" (any mix of siberian husky, malamute, chow, fuzzy dog, wolf, lab). Wouldn't people talk? Would the other dogs mock her? Well, we took the plunge and have no regrets. Orbit is sweet, athletic, clever, and protective.
