Canada Day Weekend

My Mommy was off work for 4 days for the Canada Day Long weekend. It was very nice. On Saturday Mommy and Mikey stayed home with me. They did some yard work and I layed under the tree and watched them. It was hot out but I was cool in the shade. Later they took me out to Grandma P's farm. I love going out there. She has 2 big dogs named Dingo and Moe. They don't really bother me. I just love going out there because I get to chase the kittys. There is kittys that live out in the barn and when they come outside I chase them. Grandma P also has a kitty in the house. Whe she is not hiding I chase her too. Then we went home. People around us were letting off fireworks that night and I got scared. I know Mommy and Mikey like to watch them but the noise scares me. Mikey's cousin Dan came over to visit with Mikey and then Dan's wife Leanne came over with their little baby Braxton. I haven't seen very many babys before. Mommy says he is cute and I think so too. I was just happy because I love Leanne.
On Sunday Mommy stayed home with me in the morning and then her and Mikey went out for a bit but she came home after supper and we curled up on the couch while Mommy read her book.
On Monday Mommy cleaned the house and I followed her around. She was home with me all day. I like it when Mommy cleans because she always takes brakes to play with me.
Then Yesterday Mommy and Mikey stayed home with me in the morning but then Mommy got a phone call that made her verry happy. She has an old car that has been at her work getting fixed. It has been there for a very long time. She got a call saying it was ready to be picked up. So Mikey took me and Mommy to pick the car up. I love riding in the Chevy!! After Mommy picked up her car we went to Grandma and Grandpas and had supper there.
It was a very nice weekend. I can't wait till next week when my Mommy is on holidays for a week.

Fathers Day 2006

Well yesterday was Fathers day. I got Mikey some new sunglasses for Fathers day. He likes them.
We spent the morning at home and then Mommy and I went over to Grandma and Grandpas. Mommy gave Grandpa his present and then they took him out for supper. I had to stay behind with Spike and Lucy. It was okay because they stay in the kitchen and I get the rest of the house to myself. I usually just sleep in Grandma and Grandpas bed when I have to stay there.
When they came back they had cake. I wish I could have had some cake. I love cake but Mommy always says that I can't have any people food.
After the cake I fell asleep with Grandpa on the couch. When I woke up it was time to go home.
When Mommy and I got home we played for a bit with my stuffed ram and then I watched TV with Mommy and Mikey.
It was a good day :)

Well I am happy to say that my eye infection has totally cleared up!! YA!!!
I didn't like those eye drops.
My mommy had the day off from work yesterday so we spent part of the day together. She had to do a few things around the house in the morning and then we went for a car ride to Grandma and Grandpa's. I love my Grandma and Grandpa but as I have said before I don't really like their dogs but I put up with them anyway. I also got to visit with my Auntie Cherie.
I love going in the car but I know when I go with my mommy I have to wear my seatbelt. I know it is for my safety but I really don't like the seatbelt because it is hard for me to look out the windows. Maybe some day she will get me something else so I can still look out the window.
After we left Grandma and Grandpa's we went to get some movies. We went home to watch them with Mikey but mommy and I didn't watch them. We fell asleep on the couch together. Maybe we will watch them tonight when mommy comes home from work.
I have to get my mommy to pick up a fathers day present for Mikey. He needs new sunglasses. I thought maybe that would be a good fathers day present for him.
