Arrival Story:
I got Olympia for my birthday, after years of begging for a puppy, She was truly a spirit that touched my heart, she was with me till she was 12 yrs old then cancer took her away.

Bio:
When I picked Olympia up I had no idea what I was in for, she immediately showed signs of severe illness, we rushed her to the vet when we got home, and they said there was no way this little puppy was going to live, she was full of worms, dehydrated, and literally starving to death, they said it would be a miracle if she survived the night. The poor baby had to have a blood transfusion, and was in the hospital for 1 full week, then she was not allowed to be socialized for 3 months due to her being so weak from her illness, she was only allowed in our yard, and around our existing pets. She had to be bottle fed every 2 hours, I used to rock her to sleep every night, and I slept in the basement with her, quite the task seeing as how I was senior in high school, so as you can imagine I certainly didn't want to go to school, and leave her alone at all. She wasn't allowed to drink straight water{ it had to be ice cubes or frozen gatorade} the vet was worried it would be to much of a shock to her little body, He also had her eating raw ground beef to build her red blood cells as she was severly anemic. It was a long tough road for her with plenty of ups, and downs but she pulled through, and was an amazing dog.

Hi my sweet angel, I'm missing the light of my life.

I will always remember the light in your eyes for you were the light of my life.
I knew you were an angel from the moment I saw you, at that time I had never
Known real love, then I held you in my arms. I realized you were sent to save me

for my life was falling apart. This little life so in need, I rocked you to sleep when
you felt ill, I bottle fed you when you were hungry, and I slept with you when
you were scared. As time went on there was marriage, and a baby. You loved
your human boy so much that sometimes I think you actually thought he was
your own pup. Now I had two shining stars to light my way, you two were
inseperable, I could watch your antics for hours, I think that boy was the light of
your life. So I just want to Thank you, Olympia for guiding me as far as you did,
alot has happened over the years your boy grew up, and moved away for college. Your Daddy, and I moved into a house in the country, I wish you were here to see it. The sky is so dark at night, and the stars are so brilliant, and as I look up I know the brightest star is you. Rest now my sweet angel for we will meet again. Love mommy!
