Maddi Mae's Place

Maddi my girl...1st collie

I got Maddi a little over 2 yrs ago and when I picked her up way back in the hills of WI at a gentelmens farm that raised Clydesdales and made the most beautiful carriages by hand that were real gold trim, to the side of the shop were these wonderful collie, playing and running around and so happy. So we went upstairs to where the nursery was and there was my girl....SHe was such a ball of fur and so sweet and so that was the first time I got to see my new babie....I will add some pictures of her when she was a babe. The man gave me the cutest little lunch box with Timmy and Lassie pictures on it and I opened it up to see her name and there was a date also in there and I'm thinking to myself why does he have my birthday written on the lunch box or how could he of known my bd, so I asked and he said no thats Maddi's birthday, what a jaw dropper we have the same BD's and that just sealed the deal, I had my new little girl......and now 2 yrs later she is still my babe just a lot bigger . He breed for the small lassie look and she sure has it and the best temperment in the whole world. She is so smart and at the terrible two's she is just a little deaf....LOL and that too shall will pass , right LOL......but a very sweet girl....So that is my story about maddi and then came Sid , Darci and Grandma Riley....more to come....
