Arrival Story:
Our good friend Woody was walking in North Hollywood Park one day and this Mexican guy came up to him with a box of puppies he said he'd found. Woody chose Otto (who he named Charlie) because he was the smallest, a runt all eaten up by fleas, barely weaned, all skin and bones except for a big fat tummy (ergo, a worm farm in there). Woody wasn't feeling his best at the time as he was battling cancer so he gave Charlie to us and he came to live with us until we could find him a home (we already had a dog, Taxi, and she did NOT like the new arrival one bit, nor did she appreciate his teensy needle puppy teeth). Well, one thing led to another. A good indication that he was here to stay was when he got the name Otto, and as of June of 2004 Otto has been with us six years. By the way, all the puppies that Otto was found with were adopted that day.

Bio:
Why Boxer? When people ask us what kind of dog Otto is we say "Boxer." They look kinda confused but since he was found in a box it just makes sense, doesn't it? Otto has a great sense of humor and people always mention to us that he's smiling and/or laughing...and you know what? He is. Otto has worked in a few TV movies but casting seems to prefer Taxi. Fun fact: Otto snores like a drunken sailor. Otto died April 1, 2008
