Likes:
Giving and getting lots of affection and kisses/Laying in bed with mom and dad and hogging the air conditioner, I love to lay on the bed on my back and get the nice cool breeze. I love to getting my hair cut. I love making new friends, especially kids.

Brody getting more attention than me, so I'll have to "nose" my way in there until I get a kiss.

Stuffed toys, whatever I can steal from Brody, paper and boxes.

Nutro large breed puppy food/Pig ears/and a really big bone that a friend bought for us.

Arrival Story:
My boyfriend and I knew that we wanted another St. Bernard after we got Brody, so we did some more searching and found a breeder that had Rosie. We just fell in love with her picture and decided that she was the one she wanted. After some emailing back and forth we had set up all the flight information to get Rosie shipped to us. Well she ended up not coming when she was supposed to. Finally almost two weeks later she was on her way. When she arrived at the airport it was dissapointing in a way. She was crammed into a cat kennel much too small for her, and she was covered in her "mess". And the mess was not just from the flight. Her white fur was stained yellow with urine, and she had feces matted into her fur. It took 4 baths just to get her so she didn't stink. She was really afraid of my boyfriend for a month or so. She wouldn't go near him, wouldn't take a treat from him, and if he took her outside to use the bathroom..she wouldn't go. If he just put her on her chain to go she would hide behind the tree to go potty. She was very clingy with me though, and I had no problems getting her to go to the bathroom for me. We came to the realization that she was beaten by her former male owner for various things and so she was afraid of men. She has come out of that shell very well, and now she loves my boyfriend and loves to cuddle with him. She was also behind on her shots when we got her (when we were told that she was up to date). Well it turns out the "breeder" we got Rosie from wasn't actually a breeder, but a "breeding farm". Well that person no longer has a license to breed St's, and actually lost their license to breed any dog. Rosie has done so well with us, and you'd never know that ever had any fears about anything. We're so glad that we got her. She's just so great.

I'm 8 months old now, and I weigh 125. My vets thinks that I'll get to be about 200 pounds by the time I'm all done.
