 Quick Bio:
Likes: He loves to eat & chew on raw hides, and playing with his brothers & sister

Pet-Peeves: Not being first at the food bowl - we're having a hard time teaching him about sharing. He hates leashes!

Favorite Toy: He likes all toys.

Favorite Food: He loves dog food, treats, hamburger buns & anything he can get before the other dogs...

Favorite Walk: He likes walking everywhere, except into the Vet's office.

Best Tricks: Escaping out of the fence

Arrival Story: JJ's mom has always been a stray in the neighborhood...she'd go from home to home each week in search of food. Although some neighbors would run her off, we always found enough to share. Because of our kindness to her, she felt having her puppies under our home would be a good way to share her love. One of her puppies became very sick & had to be taken to the vet. After "investing" so much money into making him well, we ended up keeping him. He has been a source of humor because he is such a goofy dog. He loves to sleep on his back with his legs spread wide - showing all his glory!

Bio: Jay was always a hungry puppy. I guess his mom's survival instincts were instilled in him because he would gobble up his food faster than you could pour it. When we finally housed him with our other outside babies, he always made sure he was first in line for the food & the treats. For a pup who's life started out very dim, he turned out to be a very sweet dog. Just don't stand in front of the food bowl - or he'll knock you down!

Forums Motto: I want to be 1st in the food line!

Wouldn't you know it, it's raining on Monday - and that means I'll have to stay cooped up in the dog shed all day.
My tongue was wagging this weekend because we had awesome weather. I was "giving paw" all weekend! I pranced around the yard, barked at squirrel in the tree, napped & played with my brothers.
Speaking of brothers, the new addition to our family (the only pup let out of the 6 abandoned ones my Daddy found - and the only one that didn't find a home) has become my shadow. He follows me around everyone & has began mocking my every move. I was barking at squirrels & here he came doing the same. Okay, he didn't even see the squirrel - so why was he barking?
I overheard Mommy saying that I was his mentor. What does mentor mean? I hope it's a good thing. The last time I heard a word Mommy said that I didn't understand was "neuter".
I'll let the little fellow hand around - but he better not try to take any of my loving!
Woof Woof,
Jay-Jay

You can find out the whole story about the new puppies in my life on my brother Jake's site - so I'll just give my take on them.
Those darn puppies are driving me crazy! I can't get to my mom for an ear scratch because those 6 puppies are always circling her when she comes out to play with us. I know I'm bigger & can knock them out of the way - but mommy tells me not be mean to those critters.
Mommy loves me, so she'll make sure I get some loving before she goes back inside - but I don't like sharing.
This one puppy had taken a liking to me, and he follows me around everywhere - even when I'm looking for a tree (if you get my drift). :-) Mommy calls him my little shadow.
I get the puppies back because whenever mommy gives us doggie snacks & the puppies drop theirs, I run & take it from them. So take that & wag it!
