Arrival Story:
I got Kodi from a co-worker. She was an accidental litter, and there were 2 puppies left needing homes. Another co-worker was taking one of the puppies and the other was destined for the pound....well I couldn't let that happened so Kodi came home with me. I had a 5 mo old Brittany at home and they became best buds.

Bio:
Kodi has also been my little shadow of a dog. When she was just a baby she was following behind me and I didn't know it. I closed the door behind me and caught her little paw in the door. I was just sick about it. I rushed her to the vet where she had one of her toes amputated. It has never slowed her down and of course being a dog she has never held it against me. Kodi was a "mouthy" puppy instead of biting I taught her it was better to give kisses. Kodi LOVES to kiss. Kodi is an older dog now and slowing down a little bit, but she still loves to play with (tear up) any stuffed toy. She still loves to bite at the water out of the hose, but doesn't want to actually get wet like she used to. Kodi used to prefer to be outside to bark at the squirrels but now prefers to hang out in the house in the air conditioning. And being an older dog does have its perks, such as selective hearing and the best spot on the bed. We've been thru a lot together and I know that Kodi is a happy, healthy dog and she has had a good life.
