Arrival Story:
We were looking for a Boxer but ended up with a "mini version" of the breed, Boston Terrier. We were supposed to go to Las Vegas that weekend to see Elvis Presley memorabilia, so that's where the name comes from. We saw an ad in the newspaper about a boston puppy. When we drove to see him, we realized it was a puppy store in disguise. He was the tiniest puppy we'd seen so far, and we fell completely in love with him. We took him to the floor to play, and the minute his paws hit the floor he pooped! It was the cutest thing. We went to get him the next day. He seemed to have a little cold, but it turned out he was really sick. For weeks we just nursed him back to health. Because of all the medication that was force fed to him, he still hates to be held too tightly.

I feel like I have a real psychic connection to Elvis. he knows what I mean even before I verbalize it to him. He is so smart! Also, Elvis is a dreamer and a lover! He is such a sensitive dog that one wrong look from me, and he goes hiding. He also gets his feelings hurt regularly because we refuse to play fetch 24/7. Elvis is a big guy and sometimes I wonder if he is mixed with something, but the seller insisted that he was a purebred. We don't really care either way, he is the best dog in the world!
