baby it's cold out there.....

A chill is in the air... mom and dad have been turning the heater on a lot lately, but I still love the electric blanket the best! I can hardly contain myself when I see mom pull it out and plug it in!!! Fuzz-butt has too much fur to really appreciate the electric blanket but mom and I have spent many a cold nights with some doggie treats and a hot cocoa (for her)!

My day!

It's my BIRTHDAY! Wow, I can't believe it's finally here. My mom and dad have been telling me I'm going to be FOUR soon but it's finally here. It's early yet here so we haven't had my party yet but I'm just so excited I couldn't wait to write in my diary about it. My folks did sing to me this morning but stupid Tad got all excited and thought they were talking to him. It's not HIS birthday and he better not think he's getting any of my cake and toys.

Well, I better go freshen up... I'm sure the camera will be on me again all day today (but to be honest, I'm already pretty used to that... and why not? I'm divine....).

Sum Sum Summertime!

Hi everyone! Gosh it has been a long time since I've written in my diary- oops! I guess life just has a way of getting busy busy! Well, mostly mom has been too busy to dicate, really. But anyhoo- today was our first officially HOT day here in San Diego! I love it! We have taken a few trips to Arizona this year and it's already hot there but then we come home and it's cold. This time- it was hot here too! Mom's even complaining that she needs a pool- I thought we HAD one (y'know the big porcelain thing mom soaks in!). Oh well, I guess she wants ANOTHER one like at Grandma's house.

I HATE the pool at Grandmas, even though mom and dad put me in one at the "shallow" end. Gimme a break- it was up to my neck! That is NOT shallow!

Well, I've already run out of things to write about and I can hear Tad playing in the other room- better get in there before he takes one of MY toys.

I am ready for the weekend!

Hello Dogster pals! I hope everyone is ready for their weekend! I love the weekend. It is so nice to just hang out and do whatever I want.... well, okay so I do that during the week too, but on the weekend, my parents can join me. I really love it when both of my people stay in bed in the morning with me. I wonder what exciting thing is planned for today. Maybe a little drive in the country? or a nice day hike through one of the canyons? Hmmm... maybe we'll drop my kid bro off at a friends and I'll have both people to myself!!! Have a great weekend!

Okay, I'm done. I've had enough of this cold weather and I'm ready for summer. I don't give a flea's butt about spring anymore, just bring on the summer rays! I am being FORCED to go outside, in the wet, cold grass, to go pee. I have tried to reason with these people that call themselves my parents, and they won't have any of it. I find it EXTREMELY unjust that THEY get to go in a nice, warm bathroom and yet force me outside like some kind of animal. My snotty little fur-faced brother makes the matter worse by bounding for joy out the door. He actually acts like he likes it out there. He even spends EXTRA time sniffing all of the plants. I just know he's doing it to make me look bad. That is SUCH bad karma. Oh wait- I see a ray of sunshine.... I simply must get to it to warm myself!!!

Dear Santi-Paws,

My name is Gidget and I have been a very good girl this year. I am very patient with the little turd of a brother I have. I even let him curl up next to me when there are no other humans within 50 feet of us (and that's not just because of the embarrassment factor, but because humans are huge and therefore generate more body heat- a plus for a little chihuahua like me). I also let my mother lavish wet, coffee-breath kisses on me in the morning before she leaves for work. I can't tell you when the last time was that I peed in the house (okay, I COULD tell you, but with two chis in the house now, my mom can never be sure and I don't want to incriminate myself). And lastly, my brother has torn up, chewed up and in the least, slobbered on every one of my toys over the last year. I really could use some new ones. Really. Oh- and maybe you could throw in an electric blanket like the one daddy got mommy)... Thanks!

So, I was on the television again. Yawn...., I even made it on VH1 this time. My fans just can't get enough of a cute little thing like me! People love little chis in costume and I showed off my little cheerleader costume (complete with pom poms) for all it was worth. Might as well, since I was forced to wear it. When that man came over with his big camera and stuck it in my face, he wasn't expecting me to turn around and bark him a piece of my mind! It was cold, and wet and I was wearing a mini skirt! Tell me, what did they expect me to say on camera!? Just so we are ALL CLEAR, next year I want to be the Queen of Chiba.

Halloween again

My mother needs a hobby. She actually dressed me up as a cheerleader for Halloween this year. I mean, really- does she think that I would really ever want to be a cheerleader. I wanted to be someone important! Last year I was a princess and I totally thought this year I would be a queen or even Condoleeza but she found that little cheerleader costume, complete with pom poms and that was it. Oh well, at least it got all of the boy chis excited! One chi was dressed as Paris Hilton (yuck yuck) and my poor girlfriend came as a witch! Of course, my brother Tad ran around estatic to be, get this, a pumpkin. Sheesh!

My boyfriend's back

Oh boy, Angelo is coming for a visit! That NEVER happens! Okay, sometimes he comes for the day, and once he stayed overnight but mom said he was staying for TWO FULL WEEKS! Angelo is my chihuahua studfriend and I've known him since I was about 8 months old. It'll be sooooo great, as long as he doesn't eat my food. Or touch my toys. Or go in my new tent--- wait, what if he goes into my new tent!? Oh no! Maybe it's best if he stays at his house and we visit HIM! Mom said his parents are going to Hawaii and he can't go but WHY? WHY can't he go and leave my new tent alone!!!??? It'll smell like a booooooyyyy if he goes in there!!!!!!!!! Okay, okay, I guess I'll just have to sit in my tent the entire time he is visiting so he can't use it. That's okay, I can do that. And I'll just bark out instructions to mom and dad to bring me the necessities- like food, water, a comfy pillow, my blanket, my toys, my new necklace, of course and more food (just to be sure). Yeah, I can do that! And Angelo is easy to boss around so it should be fun. Oh boy, Angelo is coming for a visit!
