HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Today is my birthday!! Woof-hoo!! I can't believe I'm already a year old. I've grown so much over the past year! I've also looked back and realized that I've been a bad little girl at times, but my mommy and daddy still love me!! And now that I'm becoming a big-girl, I will try to behave like a young lady from now on.....YEAH RIGHT!! Gotta have some fun every now and then.

I think it's going to be a fun day. Hopefully, I will get lots of treats and toys.

long time. no see.

what an exciting night. my mommy and daddy took me on a walk after dinner, like we sometimes do. i like our walks, but sometimes i get tired and they have to tell me to "come on".

well, tonight was different. we walked past about 4 or 5 trash cans and we came up on some friendly people. they were loading stuff into their truck. just about the time we were coming upon their house, we heard the man say, "chloe". he was calling his dog to come see me. he also had a black lab puppy like me and wanted us to meet.

well we were about the same size so we immediately played well together. our parents all met each other, started conversing, and found out that chloe and i were sisters! yep, that's right. i got reunited with my sister tonight, after 3 months - it was so fun, we played and played and played. i told her i loved her and to take care, then i had to finish my walk, which took a little longer, b/c i was already so tired from playing. tonight was so fun, but now i have to go lie down b/c i'm tired!

Fun-filled Weekend!

I took my first road trip this weekend with my parents. We went to my grandparents house about 2 hours away and had a surprise birthday party for my grandma. It was a lot of fun and everyone was oooing and aaahhing over me. And my Aunt Kristi gave me a lot of toys. Yep, I got to open my first present; I like my new toys.I still slept alot but while I was awake, I had alot of fun. Mama and Daddy let me lie between them in the truck on the way there and back. I had fun, but I was so glad to be back home last night.

Busy Pup

I haven't had time to write in my diary b/c I've been so busy! Ever since I've come home I've been sleeping and playing, sleeping and playing. My grandparents have come down from KY and have been staying with us all week. They brought their springer spaniel and kitty cat, so I've been playing with them. I like to play, but I like to sleep more, b/c I'm still a puppy, I have to get my beauty sleep.

I went to the vet for the first time yesterday. It wasn't so bad. Mama says I was a good girl. They said I was a healthy pup.

home sweet home

i hear i get to go to my new home tomorrow. my new parents will be coming to pick me up. i'm so excited, i think it just wet myself!!! whoops!

Mom, Dad, Come get me!

I'm only 4 wks. old, so I have to wait 2 more weeks to go to my new home. My mama and daddy came to see me this past weekend. They seemed pretty nice. My daddy picked me up after I licked his toe, and he said, "This is the one we're going to take." Then he handed me to my mama, and I peed a little on her shirt. I didn't mean to though, so I was hoping they wouldn't set me down to pick one of my other sisters. Luckily they didn't. They put a red collar on me and claimed me as their own.

I will miss my brothers and sisters, but I can't wait to go to my new home!!
