Arrival Story:
When we heard about Ulysses' litter, we e-mailed right away and went up to see the pups as soon as we were invited. We loved him immediately but had to wait 1 month before we could bring him home. Ulysses has been up to visit his littermates twice since. The second time was for his first birthday. There were 11 Portuguese water dogs in all havinga ball, jumping into the lake and trying to steal human food when no one was looking, and posing for group photos!

Bio:
Ulysses loves people. He feels it is his job to greet everyone in the neighborhood when we are out walking. He has his favorite buildings that he visits regularly. He goes to his daddy's office and keeps himself busy by saying hello to all visitors and snuggling up to the others in the office when he is not borrowing cell phones or going through garbage cans. Ulysses also likes to help out at home and waits patiently while paper comes out of the printer before grabbing the pages and running. He is also vigilent with our cat Keow and any time he hears him sctratching the furniture he runs and nudges the cat away. Every night like clockwork at 10 PM, he brings his bed into our bedroom and onto our bed and is ready to call it a night. He is a very affectionate and cuddly dog and loves to give kisses!
