Arrival Story:
I'll start off by saying, I have moved a lot but I finally have a home. A good home and a home for good. I was born in a kennel on July 16, 2003. I was tiny and had problems because of my size. I got really sick and almost died. The kennel owner didn't care, but his friend saw me and took me into the house. He saved my life with maple syrup of all things. My sugar had got too low. The kennel owner didn't care. His friend was furious. The kennel owner ended up giving me to his friend, who became my foster dad. I then moved in with my new foster parents. They took very good care of me but couldn't really take care of me in the house because they were so busy, so I was moved into their kennel. My foster dad was so sad about me being out there that he couldn't stand it. So, he took me to a preacher's house. The preacher's wife had a kennel. They loved and played with all their dogs. My foster dad asked the preacher if he wanted me. The preacher (my grandpa now!) couldn't say no. So, I moved again. All of my grandpa's friends thought I was so cute and so sweet. About a week later my grandpa's daughter (my mommy now!) came in to visit. She saw me and picked me up. We played the rest of the day. She told my grandparents they lost a dog. The next day I moved to Russellville with my new Mommy!

Dear Diary,
Sorry I haven't written in so long! I've been so dog-gone busy. I've went to see my grandparents twice since I've written last. One of the times, we went to the lake! Mommy and Grandma let me wade in the water! They said no swimming though, not until I got my own lifejacket. They are so protective. Grandpa came up to visit last Wednesday. Guess who we met? My foster dad! I was sooo excited to see him! He calls me Angel-Poo. He said he was going to tell my foster mom how good I looked. It was good seeing him again. I am so happy where I am now though. And guess what!!! My boyfriend, Tigg, and his mommy moved back from Sheveport! Mommy said I could go play with him next week. I can't wait. I haven't seen him in forever. We are quite a team at catching flies. He's a little better than me though. But, it's only because he's bigger than me and can jump higher. My boyfriend is half Miniature Collie and half Pom. He looks like a very large Pomeranian to me. Mommy got me a new bed. I tried telling her that it was silly to buy me a bed since I share her big bed, but she said I needed somewhere to curl up when she's gone. The big bed is very, very tall and, in comparison, I am very, very short! But the new bed is low enough and it's very soft. It's faux mink in pink! Well, Mommy wants to get on the computer for a little bit so I'll write more later!

Angel

Two new toys, Two new toys!!

Dear Diary,
Sorry I haven't written in a few days. Guess what! Mommy got me two new toys. They are soooo cool. The first one is a squeaky elephant. I really like him. Well, I try to kill him a lot. Mommy laughs at me. She cannot believe I show so much "aggression" toward my elephant. We play with it a lot. Then, today she bought me a zebra puppet at the Cracker Barrel. I don't know why she calls it a puppet, it's just another toy. This zebra is huge, I mean HUGE. It's not heavy though so I drag it from room to room. We have been having a lot of fun lately. But, tonight Mommy fell asleep watching tv in the floor with me, so I curled up and slept on her butt. She told me I need Doggles to keep my eyes from hurting from the bright light. Oh yeah, Mommy is trying to teach me to sit and wave. She gives me lots of treats when I do it right. I love my t-bones! Well, Diary, it is time to go watch TV!! I will write more later.
XOXO,
Angel

Walking around the block

Dear Diary,
Today I got so frustrated with my mommy. First, she wouldn't wake up. I licked her and licked her until she finally got up. Then, she make me wear those silly red boots for our walk outside. Then, she wouldn't let me chew on the dead thing I found! I mean, I found it. I don't really know what the big deal was. I think it used to be a bird. It had a very interesting smell, but Mommy said no. We had so much fun though. I saw a gray Westie a couple houses down from us. She barked at me a lot. I think she was jealous because I was outside while she was just peeking out the window. We saw some guys a couple blocks away that talked to me. Mommy told me to stay away from them because they looked like they were on drugs. She says some of the weirdest things. I saw two squirrels! And, I saw our mailman. He's a strange man. He just runs from house to house leaving presents. I wish I could do that. Well, it's time to go snuggle with my mommy on the couch.
XOXO,
Angel
