The local basset hound rescue group "sprung" her. I "fostered" her for about a month before I knew she wouldn't be going anywhere. Rosie is still scared of people (she hides and pees when they come in the house), but she warmed up to me quickly and will eventually warm up to people staying with me. She is very playful once she is comfortable. I'm so thankful that she was saved because she is a great dog Bio: I'm not sure if she is a basset mix (with coonhound?) or just a badly bred basset. She has long legs, but the classic basset face. She is slender and has a little smaller head I've Been On Dogster Since:
