Birthday: March 10th 2006 Likes: Playing, hunting lizards. Pet-Peeves: Being ignored, cats playing with his tail, having his nails trimmed. Favorite Toy: Anything that squeaks. Favorite Food: Anything that he can fit in his mouth - edible or not. Favorite Walk: Anywhere he can be off leash to run. Best Tricks: 'Gimme five', 'beg', 'wave', 'Bang!'. Arrival Story: We went to Hillsborough County Animal Services on May 26, 2006 to look at their puppies. We went back and forth from several dogs, but they didn't seem too interested in coming home with us. So when we took him out and he just wanted to lick and follow us and play, we were pretty sure that he was the one. However, my mother had reservations and so we left the shelter without him so she could think the commitment through another time. Three hours later, we were back, Sampson was still available, and so we took him home with us. Bio: Sampson cannot be described with any other word than "unique". He absolutely loves cats, and thinks that every cat is a friend, so he'll run right up to any that he sees, not realizing that the cat doesn't see his approach as friendly! Regardless, he's befriended several of the neighborhood cats, which is a surprising and very endearing fact. Sampson also loves water (unless, of course, it's in connection to a bath), and has no reservations about running right into any body of water he sees (including Lake Michigan when it was 30-degrees out). His absolute favorite thing, however, is kisses. He loooves to give kisses. In the mornings when we wake up, the first thing he wants is a smooch on the muzzle! If he doesn't get one, then he has no reservations about stealing one! He's a big lover. He also has a myspace:
