I have a torn ligament in my knee which has caused me to limp quite badly.
I don't complain, and I try not to let it stop me from having fun, but
it bothers me. My mom and dad took me to the vet and I had x-rays.
I'm on medication now, and my vet said I had to be kept calm
and I shouldn't jump or run or romp or play. That is so hard. I'm young
and energetic! But I have wonderful guardians. They took their big king
size bed apart and now the mattress is down on the floor, so I can get up on the bed now without jumping. Instead of going up and down the steps to go in and out - they have a ramp out there for me. And the area rugs are
now nailed to the hardwood floors so I don't slide. They still play ball with me, but they are very careful not to overdo it. I'm so fortunate to have
such dedicated guardians. I hardly limp at all anymore!!
