Our Dear Little Boomer,
You couldn't possibly know how much joy you bring into this household. From the moment you picked us out, when you were a tiny one pound little bundle of black fur who was waving your front paws at us, you made us laugh. You are the dearest friend imaginable and both your Daddy and I love you with all our hearts. Life could not ever be the same without our BoomDog to constantly work at "herding" his family together, and who brings a smile to the most disheartened face. We thank God for bringing you into our lives and into our hearts.

Life is good in Boomerland

I'm used to Dad's new job hours now. Mom and Dad come home and then everybody plays and eats and we dogs, we just celebrate. Anyplace else that they go they take me with them and it is so much fun. I hate waiting in the car though. I like people. Why can't they take me into these place where there are lots of people? I go in the dog store with them - why can't I go in the grocery store? I just don't understand. The checkout boy at the grocery store told my mom today that he's never met such a friendly little dog as me. That made Mommy get all puffed up.

Mom and Dad gave me my weekly bath tonight. Sometimes
I wonder if they are trying to drown me, but I feel SO good when I'm done. Mommy wraps me in a nice warm towl and rubs my fur briskly and it feels so envigorating! Then I run and race through the house
and I feel like I could fly if I wanted to. They didn't use the gun on me
all summer - but tonight they took the gun out again. They said it was getting cool out so they needed to "blow" me. They point this gun at me and
it makes a real loud noise and it shoots hot air at me and makes my fur blow around. I really hate the gun. But afterwards they tell me how pretty I look and how good I smell...so maybe it's worth it. I just wish they didn't have
to use that gun.....

DADDY'S NEW JOB..

My Daddy got a new job. Mommy and Daddy used to work different
shifts from each other - and while it was hard on them, it was nice for
me because one of them was home with me most of the time. Now Daddy works day shift, and he leaves very early in the morning, and then Mommy leaves a couple hours later and I'm home all day with Alley and Moses and my feline brothers. They are great company, and yesterday was such a beautiful day that I laid on the swing outside most of the day and just let the breeze swing my swing while I snoozed the day away. But I miss my
Mommy and Daddy just terribly. The days are so different now.
