long time

hi guys! haven't been on in a while , i know!! I was busy healing though. I was bitten in the chest by the Pitbull dog next door in August 07. I have since been doing well and that nasty doggie has gone bye-byes, thank god! No more fear for me of bad doggies! I had multiple stitches that have since been removed but I still have a big scar as a reminder. My human boyfriend got bitten also. He's doing ok now too. We won our court case against the mean doggies owner. I guess that's it for now. Hopefully I'll be on here more often now that the worst of things are over. Hope everyone's doing well! Feelin' Better

Well fellow mutts! I have been back to almost my normal self. I have broken the splint mommy bought me from orthovet.com and have been kinda runnin' around without it ok for about a week or so now! I sure hope that muscle in my leg has completely healed! It's been such a LONG time (since March), and I really don't wish to go through all that splint stuff again! Hope everyone is doing well! Ruffs!

Oh my achin' leg!!

Well fellow doggies! Looks like I have a strained calcaneal tendon. My orthopaedic doggie doctor says to splint it for 8-12 weeks then we will see where to go from there (surgery, etc.). They're hoping it's not pulled. We will see if the stupid green splint I chewed off or the new red one I have does the trick. For now though, mommy and boyfriend have to lift me to go outside to potty, and I have restrictions on where I can go , so it's only one short 5-10 min walk a day for a restroom break and potty breaks. Everything is on the first floor so I can't walk up and down the stairs. They want me to rest. Are they crazy?? Me?? Rest?? Hopefully I will be all better soon and back to my normal crazy self. Hurtin' Leg

OWWWWIIIIEEEE!!! SO on March 25th I was runnin' in the park with my doggie boyfriend Rush when all of a sudden.......POW! YIPE! YIPE! YIPE!.......3 different times I yiped and held my leg up. Mommy thought I was ok but when she took me to the vet they stuck me for blood and took X-ray things and stuff. The vet also played in my ear that was infected. It wasn't much fun and it was so scary! Mommy took me back to the vet sooner than expected because she thought I wasn't doing too well. She took me to an Orthopaedic doggie doctor and after a scary night's stay with the animal hospital, we found out I have an acute calcaneal sprain/strain? and we are hoping it's not separated from my heel bone. I now have this funky green colored cast looking splint thing on my leg now. It makes me hobble around like peg-leg. It's not fun, let me tell you that. very difficult to pee and poop normally. But hopefully in 6, or 8-12 weks I will get better and be back to my old crazy self. Just feelin' lousy right now but mom and boyfriend help me out and make me feel better. They take such good care of me. Woof to you later!

SNOW!!!!

WOW! I didn't know how fun the snow could be! Mom took me out when the snow first started to fall and told me "Look girlfriend! It's snowing!" Now when she says "do you want to go play in the snow?" I race for the door all excited to go out and get my nose all cold. Last night I had fun sliding down the hill in front of our house. Today I spent time running in the snow with my boyfriend Rush! How fun is the snow? LOTS!!! Woof to ya later! I'm gonna nap now. Snow also makes me tired. Yawn! Later!

Christmas is over!

So mom says Christmas is over! Boo-hoo! No more new toys so she says but then when I went for a car ride I got a toy for being good! So much for Christmas being over huh? Who is she kidding? It's Christmas for ME every day! HA HA! New years was kinda fun too but Mom and boyfriend popped all these loud noisy things. wasn't fun after that. I got a little scared. Happy Birthday to Me!!

Oh what a joyous occaision! It was my birthday yesterday! Nov. 26th! Mommy and boyfriend took me to Valley Forge National Park! It was great! They let me run all over the place (on my leash of course!) and there were SO many doggies there to meet! Mommy called it a Big Doggie Park! I was so excited to be there! It was a long day but when we came home I took a nap. When I woke up, Mommy and boyfriend had a cake ,.....JUST FOR ME! I only had a little piece of that one though because it was chocolate which is not good for us doggies. Mommy did feed me three mini vanilla frosted cupcakes though! Boy were they great! It was such a great day! I should have a birthday every day!

Happy Howloween to me!!!

Well mom wasn't too happy with me when she came home this morning. There was candy from her bucket of candy for the kiddies for Halloween ALL OVER the floor! I was so hyper excited to see her this morning but she was pretty upset! She told me that the 2 funsize 100 grand bars, 2 funsize Oh Henry! bars, some mini M&M's, parts of Dum Dum pops, and various other hard candies were NO GOOD for doggies! Hey! I thought they tasted pretty good! How can they be bad for me if they taste SOOOOO good? But mom made it pretty clear to me that I was not to eat anymore candy. It's a BIG NO NO! Even with my calming collar and all my calming medicine, I was STILL soooo hyper until about 2 or 3 this afternoon! Boy! What a rush! Dog + Candy = Puppy on Drugs! This is your dog, this is your dog on candy........do not attempt this at home. Use at your own risk! No more candy for (another year at least) EVER!
