Well, 2 and a half years after Stussi's diagnosis, and 2 years longer than she was expected to live, the little dynamo lives on!
She is slow and tired now, but still enjoys a good (short) walk or a session of fetch. She is 10 now, so I don't know what is age and what is sickness. The steroids have done the trick, and they aren't adversely affecting her organ function either, so we carry on this way!
Hugs and kisses to you and all your pups!

Well, 10 months after Stussi's diagnosis, we still have her with us and although she has less energy than when she was free of cancer, she is still enjoying life and charging round like a nutter! The steroids seem to have kept the cancer in check and we are enjoying every day...

Stussi has been diagnosed with liver cancer. She has just been started on some palliative steroids to keep her more comfortable until we have to say goodbye.
