Arrival Story:
I HAVE ADOPTED HANK -- ME, THE DIRECTOR!!! SO HANK MAKES 4~! Hank came from a shelter in Delaware where he came in as a stray. He was on "death row" and I couldn't let that happen to this gorgeous boy. He may have been abused because he is very scared of loud voices/noises and is cautious of new people. Hank is 4.5 years old, weighing in at approximately 80 pounds. Hank is housetrained and crate trained -- he doesn't make a peep when in it. He gets along great with the resident pack -- 3 females, and has met another foster boy, Tucker, and they got along as well. Doesn't seem to have an alpha bone in his body! Hank loves being around his people and generally wants to be in the area you are in, but he is not clingy and underfoot, nor does he beg for attention -- well, maybe a little at times! Hank is not much of a barker -- he rarely barks when in the backyard, unless he see's a cat! Hank is also not much of a drooler. He is fairly skiddish in new surroundings, and when walking on a leash . . he gets spooked by cars. So, he needs more "leash training/time." He rides in a car fabulously . . . getting in the back of my SUV and laying down immediately. He does not seem to be food aggressive at all -- eating somewhat slowly and walking away from his bowl with food in it. He takes doggy bones very gently from me as well. This boy is a GREAT find! He is sweet and loving and oh so handsome! Adoption fee is $250.00. Please visit our site at www.crewwcoons.petfinder.com for more information about our organization and how you can adopt Hank.
