Bow wow! Thank you everyone so much for reading my first diary entry and giving me advice about this new baby thing. I am a lot less nervous since I heard that babies sleep a lot and that my parents will still have lots of time to play with me. Maybe this baby won't be so bad after all! I made lots of new friends today and feel very welcomed by all the Dogster pups. I am excited for this weekend. My grandparents are coming to visit and we are all going to Turkey Run State Park to canoe. I love to canoe! I sit like a good girl between mom's legs and sometimes dad takes me really far out in the water and I swim back to the canoe. Well my mom is home now so I better go and give her kisses!

My mom and dad told me that they are having a baby. I don't really know what that means, but I sure don't like all the new stuff my family keeps bringing into my house. Everyone makes a big deal over the clothes and this bedroom they keep calling a nursery. And every time someone comes over, my mom shows them every single thing again and again. I feel really left out. Sometimes I bark at the new things because it makes me mad when people don't pay attention to me.
