Arrival Story:
We rescued Bailey (formerly known as Zip) from the PAWS shelter in Lynnwood, WA. His litter was an "accident" - a result of two purebred show dogs that wasn't supposed to happen. When we were looking around at the shelter, we had our eyes on another dog at first. We decided not to adopt that dog after he proudly ate his...feces...right in front of our faces. On our way out the door, we came across this litter of black pups. Bailey was the only brown dog in the litter and was being bullied, pushed around, and picked on. We rescued him and instantly fell in love with this ball of energy and curiosity. When we brought him home, he was a very timid and dependent dog. We couldn't leave him alone without hearing the whining and whimpering. Through the years with our love, Bailey has grown up to be a very friendly and personable dog. We couldn't imagine life without him and are extremely lucky to have him in our lives.
