Of ferrets and moving trucks

Mother dear got these weird new dogs! They're really really long! She calls them "ferrets", whatever that is. They make funny noises and they smell bad. Well, that's what her mother says. I think they smell like grape soda!
They're so weird! They run backward! And when they eat, they fall asleep in their food bowls! I wish I could do that!

Anyway, ferrets aside, we're moving again! YAY.
But this is the last time. Hopefully.

Today I ran off. Under the fence, over the river, and through the woods. Though I decided to roll in a big patch of mud along the way. Or maybe it was horse dung. Mom doesn't want to know. She says she was so scared; she thought I had been stolen, like Sugar. She's going to take away my bone.

In other news, I'm getting a new collar! Mine has turned into a nylon fuzzball.
And maybe, if I'm good at petsmart, she'll get me some new toys! :) I want to get a kong, and a little rubber squeaky hamburger. I've seen those in the movies. *nods*

And we're moving!
My mom is so excited, I'll have an even /bigger/ backyard to run in! And she mentioned something about "lighting" and "pictures"

...oh boy.

Joey,
You are the best dog in the world. Your less-than-ladylike manners and puppylike antics have given us much happiness during hard times. You were there when we lost our home and everything in it to Ivan. You were there to ease our grief when we lost our beloved Sugar. You have taught us the simple joys in life. Love unconditionally, be yourself, and live life to the fullest.
