I remember coming home from seeing my dad and Bear being on the floor in the front room. My mom and step-dad told me he was mine and asked me what we should name him. I said he looked like a baby bear cub and that is how he got his name of Bear dog.
I had bear for about 12 years before he passed away of old age.
