Arrival Story:
Our Malamute got out of our yard, and we never found him so I surprised my husband by taking him to some Siberian Husky Pups. Artemis was the only one sleeping with her pudgy belly sticking out. She was also the lightest color out of her bros and sisters.

Bio:
We chose the name Artemis because we love Greek mythology. Artemis is the Greek goddess of the hunt. Our Artemis had juvenile cataracts when she was 2 years old. She underwent surgery to replace her lenses. Her left eye just wouldn't heal after surgery and she became blind with glacoma in that eye. She recently had surgery to remove her left eye because it was causing her pain. Her right eye is fine, and we are praying it will always stay healthy.
