My fiance and I were looking for a companion for Lasya, our five year old Chow/Shepherd mix. Freya was an owner surrender at a local animal shelter. After keeping her for five years in the back yard, the owner "didn't have time" for her. I saw Freya's picture on the shelter's website, and fell instantly in love with her sweet face. Upon meeting her, she practically threw herself into our arms, jumping into our laps and licking our faces. The next day we took Lasya to meet her, and while they didn't hit it off instantly, it looked like it could be a good match in time. After some initial adjustment skirmishes, they became pals. Now they wrestle, chase each other, play kissy face and tug-o-war. Freya is the cuddliest dog I've ever known - she loves to held and squeezed like a giant teddy bear. We love our moosedog!
