Arrival Story:
We adopted her from Petsmart adoption day. She came from a high kill shelter in Georgia and was saved by two nice people her now mom and dad never even met! She now lives in New Jersey and has the life she deserves!

So after weeks and weeks of waiting (9 to be exact!) my DNA results arrived! There are three categories, primary, secondary, and other. To have anything listed in the primary category, one of my parents would have had to be purebred...they were not. To have anything listed in the second category, secondary it would have meant that I was made up of at least 50% of one breed...i got nothing in this category either! Finally..the other category, which means a very small percentage showed up..something my ancestors would have been... showed two breeds...are you ready for this....

border collie (which my parents figure all along)
basset hound (whhhatt!?!?)

Do you see it?!?! We certainly don't!
