Arrival Story:
I have wanted a dog for a long time, but was willing to wait for the right one to come along. I saw Chimi on petfinder.com and drove an hour and a half to go see her - it was love at first sight! I immediately filled out an adoption agreement while sitting in the yard, and she put her muddy paw in the middle of the page- giving me her stamp of approval! I had to wait two weekends to get her, because she still needed to be spayed, and the shelter's vet was out of town. It was worth it though! Bio:
A woman called Solutions for Animals to find out if they would take her small yellow dog and two guinea pigs as she was moving and couldn't take them with her. They said they would love to take them, and could the woman come the following day to drop them off. She agreed, but never showed. the following day a small yellow dog, Chimi, was found running in traffic and was rescued by a concerned driver. No one knows what happened to the guinea pigs.
