Arrival Story:
I found Tommy on the website of the Japanese Chin Rescue. He has the most wonderful smile and I fell in love with him instantly. It took a couple of months to finally get him (another family was in competition for him) but he's been our treasure now for a couple of years

When the Chin rescue got him from the animal shelter he was a mess and eventually lost an eye- but this doesn't slow him down at all! He's exhuberent, full of life and is happy. Tommy left us On June 4, 2014. He had been in a steady decline for the past 3 years. Like my other Chins he developed heart disease with chronic heart failure and was on multiple meds. He started slowing down about 3 months ago and the day before he died he stopped eating and drinking and wouldn't get up for anything. I loved him so much. He was held and kissed and told he was loved as he peacefully left us.
