I've always grown up with a lot of pets. I grew up on a farm, but when I moved to the city to go to college I missed having pets in my home. When my boyfriend and I finally moved to a pet-friendly apartment complex he decided to surprise me for my birthday with this little black ball of fur with a pink bow around her neck. The rest is how they say... history.
Bio:
Maya tends to favor the pomeranian although she's pretty big (about 15 inches at the shoulders and about 17 pounds) Needless to say she's spoiled too :)

I know I haven't been doing a very good job at keeping up to date on my diary. Not much has happened since my last entry. I went on vacation over Christmas. I stayed at the PetHotel in Petsmart. I had sooo much fun! I even went to play in the play room one afternoon!
Mommy and Daddy are planning my upcoming birthday party. But that's been put on hold. Mommy has bronchitis and Daddy and I have been taking care of her. Daddy brings her juice and I jump on her lap and wiggle around. Me and Daddy make a good team when we're taking care of Mommy.
And Grandma and Grandpa are coming for a few days this month. I guess I have been busy. Mommy says that as soon as she feels better we are going to go to Red Rock Canyon again. She said something about wearing me out, but I don't know what that's suppose to mean. Well I have to go run circles around the coffee table.

On Saturday I went to Red Rock Canyon! I had so much fun. And I only threw up in the car once, that's pretty good. I did a great job at keeping up and I never asked Mommy or Daddy to pick me up. I even kept up with some of the big dogs that were in front of us. And I'm really good at climbing rocks. I climbed right up on top and sat so I could see everything. Mommy took a bunch of pictures. But Mommy's like that. She's always taking pictures of me. My primary photo is one that Mommy took. The only thing I didn' t like about hiking is that I had to get a bath when we came home. My underside and paws were covered in dust. I looked grey instead of black! And I was soo sleepy I slept the whole night away. I can't wait till I get to go again!!!! I hope its soon!

I'm so excited Grandma and Grandpa arrived today. And my Auntie Heather and my Great Aunt Judy will be here on Friday. And they're going to come visit me. And we all know that they only come to Vegas to visit me. I'm so happy. I think I'm going to go run circles around the table a few hundred times. I'm off like a dirty shirt!
