ANYTHING! I really love bread but I'll even eat plain old lettuce if you let me... I also love getting into anything fishy. I once ate about 25lbs of fresh shrimp...with the shells!

I can sit pretty with a treat on my nose til you snap your fingers. Feel free to take a while.

Arrival Story:
My mommy met me when I was 2 weeks old & brought me home when I was 8 weeks old. I was born on the anniversary of her Daddy's death which gave her something to celebrate on a rough day. I'm glad I could help!

Bio:
On July 29th of 2001 I lost my brother, Jake Blues. He was soooo cool. A mix of Chow, German Shepherd & Rottweiler & the sweetest brother a dog could ask for. We were the Blues Brothers & I know how Dan Aykroyd felt when he lost Belushi. Kashmir has stepped in well as my sister, she doesn't kiss me quite as much as Jake did but she's pretty cool! I let her do anything because I was so lonely and sad when Jake was gone that I am just happy to have another dog around. Plus, she protects me from cats...they scare the hell out of me!!! Elwood passed away on July 29th, 2009, exactly 8 years to the day after his brother Jake. They are together again.

A day in the life of Elwood...

I am laying at my mommy's feet and looking up at her like she is my queen. I know she loves this so I do it as much as possible. I know I won't be with her forever & I remember how sad she was when my brother Jake was gone. I know because I still miss him too. Sometimes mommy will hold me & we'll cry for him together. But we have Kashmir now & even though she thinks she owns the place & everyone in it, we love her very much. Mom will make a page so you all can see Jakey Blues too, he was very special.


I'm so happy!

I was so happy to see my mommy when she got home from work tonight that I wagged everything off our heater with my tail! I'm kind of a clumsy oaf. When I was a puppy my paws & legs were so big I looked kinda funny when I walked. A little like Marmaduke! I almost look like I'm part Great Dane I'm so big! 115lbs.
