Arrival Story:
Jeffrey acquired Ditko when he was past ten years old, and I only had a scant two years with him. I bought him from Liz Ricker's daughter Bunty Goudreau in northern Ontario. His wonderful temperament and gallant good nature made an enormous impression on me; Dit was the reason why I set about trying to save the Seppala dogs from extinction. I still miss him.

Bio:
Ditko was born 10 Feb. 1959 and died 10 July 1971 of abdominal cancer. He was bred by J. D. McFaul in Maniwaki, Qc., sired by Toto of Seppala out of Zaza of Seppala. He was the inspiration for the Markovo rescue that saved Seppala strain.
