 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: August 22nd 2003
Likes: Hunting geckos on the lanai, sleeping on Grampa's chair, her squishy crate-bed, any and all walkies, fighting the Squirrel Mafia she's convinced is conspiring against her:)

Pet-Peeves: Being ignored, golf carts, the neighborhood Squirrel Mafia, having to hold a sit-stay on walks until Mama says "MOVE"

Favorite Toy: her Kong, Busy Buddy, chewy rope, Good Cuz (she chewed the legs off), Evil Squirrel THAT HAS COME TO KILL US ALL and her sister Daisy the Basset hound

Favorite Food: Look, the only things she HASN'T eaten are mushrooms, honeydew, and cucumbers...but anything Grandma gives her, since that's usually the off-limits stuff Mommy won't feed her!

Favorite Walk: Through the neighborhood. She is a little Wal-Mart greeter and wants to say hi to everyone. I think that she barks at golf carts 'cause she's mad they don't stop and fawn over her:)

Best Tricks: sit, stay, down, high-five, high-ten, roll over, "hit the bricks!" (crawl), bow...she learns quick. Short attention span, though...amended to take out "roll over", 'cause she's too fat to roll all the way over anymore:) Blame Grandma!

Arrival Story: So, the barn where I boarded my horse is neighbor to a nice but very Deliverance-esque redneck family, who have 5 dogs that basically wander all over the neighborhood. They couldn't get Eileen (then known as "Sweetie") to stay home and were going to take her to the pound, but luckily I was riding my horse past their yard that day!

Bio: Eileen was named for the Jack Russell in Jane Smiley's "Horse Heaven"; after I read the book for the first time, I was so charmed by her spot-on portrayal of the quintessential "horsey-set" dog that I vowed to name any (girl) JRT of mine Eileen. Of course, Eileen was SUPPOSED to be a corgi-- or at least that's the kind of horsey dog I always SAID I was going to get...and on days when she has been REALLY NAUGHTY I still threaten that she's gonna get traded in for one...:)

Forums Motto: A safer world, one squirrel at a time.
