Quick Bio:

Birthday:

Likes:
Being outside (she's nosy) and sleeping in Mommies' bed, but most of all she loves to be petted and loved on by ANYONE! She accepts all of the attention she can get.

Pet-Peeves:
Being left alone and being ignored, being put out in the rain to pee-pee, she can't stand to get her feet wet or dirty. Ugh!

Favorite Toy:
Rawhide chewie sticks, loves my old socks, rope bones so my little brother can play tug-of-war with it in the middle of the living room floor. Oh, did we mention TREATS, TREATS, TREATS?

Favorite Food:
ANYTHING, especially if it is "people food". I love Jr. Burgers/everything, and I adore salads, especially if you feed it to me off of a fork!!!

Favorite Walk:
In her own backyard and going to Mommies' friends' house 'cause she has a huge backyard and I can actually run around as much as I want to. My own backyard is in town, so Mommie can't let me run loose there. Boring, except when I spy a kitty cat!!!!!!

Best Tricks:
Playing chase with my little brother, Poppy, playing tug-of-war with one of Mommies' old socks, and loves to shake hands with people.

Arrival Story:
My husband and I went to visit a friend. His Pit Bull had gotten loose and mated with his coonhound. Had about 8 puppies, all brintle colored except Bisquit. She was solid white except for the black eye and ran straight to my husband and tried to climb up his leg. The rest is history! P.S. We had just recently lost a beloved Spitz named My Girl to the highway in front of our house and had decided not to get another dog as long as we were living there. My husband (the old softie) just couldn't refuse Bisquit after she ran up to him that day!

Bio:
She was so tiny when we got her we kept her in the bathroom for about 3 wks. except when we were playing with her because we were afraid we would step on her. She was the runt of the litter and supposed to be 8 weeks old. She was probably more like 5 weeks old. She had to be fed milk-coated puppy chow soaked in hot water and then mashed into mush with a fork so she could eat because her teeth weren't through her gums yet. Personally, I think that is why she is the 'baby' she is today because she was so petted practically from the day she was born.

Bisquit's Life

Why the nickname Cosie, Biscosie?

When Bisquit was about 4 months old, she got this peculiar way of lying on the couch. She would lay on her back, all 4 feet straight up in the air, her head hanging upside down off of the edge of the couch. My husband remarked one day that she looked like she was in a coma, or comatosed. Hence the nickname Biscosie or Cosie Girl. It really stuck and I catch myself calling her that more than Bisquit. I think she thinks by now that is her real name! "The Comatosed Dog", she even answers to that!!

My Tail of Devotion for Bisquit

Bisquit, there was probably not a human being that was as close to me or meant as much to me as you have during the past 5 years. You were beside me through a car wreck and broken hip, the loss of my husband, and then a year of cancer treatments. Even though you love to be outside when it is pretty, during this time I practically had to kick you out of the house just to do your business. Such devotion is unequalled in my book and that is the reason you are my heart to this very day!!! Especially when we took in your brother, Poppy, you were a good girl, took it in stride, and learned to love him, too. Your are the BESTEST! Love you, Cosie Girl!

My First Day

Bow Wow! My Mommie finally got my own doggie page just like my brother Poppy. I am soooo excited! We just got signed up so we are all new to this. I've got Mommie digging in her pics so I will have some better pics to display in a few days. Since I wasn't on here for Christmas, Mommie added a pic of me in my Santa hat she made for me and Poppy. I don't look like I was real thrilled, do I? I am such a baby, though, I will suffer all kinds of indignities just to please her. Oh well, such is the dog's life even though I really don't know I'm a dog. I think I am PEOPLE! Maybe I'll have some more to write about later if my Mommie will let me do something exciting. I'm hoping Mommie will let me go along with my brother, Poppy, when he goes on his next play date at my Mom's friends' mini-farm. That would be way cool! Laters, Bisquit
