Arrival Story:
Marinda was born in the Netherlands and came to us via Belgium at around 9 weeks of age. She arrived in very good condition with a crowd of onlookers fawning over her very pretty face. She has been a wonderful addition to our family.

Bio:
Marinda is our second Boerboel. We love the breed so much and have been able to learn from our first to help out our second, Marinda. We went with a female this time because we had some issues with aggression with our male. Well, Marinda is always the life of the party and is not at all dog aggressive. She's not terribly fond of people coming in her yard, but as long as we're around she will welcome you once she's warmed up.

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Well, I'm one year old today. Which means I'm still a really sassy & energetic puppy, though my parents said I have calmed down quite a bit.

I'm going to the vet today. No, not for shots. My mom wouldn't do that on my birthday. I'm just going to have an overall look by my doctor and be put on the donor list. I want to help other dogs if I can when they are in need. Since I'm a really big girl, with a lot of blood volume and live close to the vet, I'm going for it. I may save a life. How cool would that be?

Anyway, I look forward to many more years with my people. They are so great, especially the little puppies without fur. They look weird, but they're fun to play with.

Hey, if you talk to my mom, can you convince her to give me some cake?

I have been born, but I'm not with my family yet. That isn't even a picture of me at the top. Can you believe they actually put a pic of Loki as a place holder? I'll have to eat a shoe over that one.
