This girl will eat just about ANYTHING! Her faves are baby carrots, tortillas, green chile...and pickles.
Best Tricks:
Well, it's not really a trick.....but when Shane holds Scarlet & gives her lots of kisses, she goes CRAZY when he lets her go! She runs around the house like a madwoman & if you're anywhere near her, she will jump on you & lick you as much as she can.
Arrival Story:
Scarlet was born in Sugar's second litter. She was the firstborn and was born with scoliosis. We kept her because we just couldn't trust anyone else to take care of her. We did give her littermates to good homes, though, and her sister Kiwi sometimes stays with us.

last night something really weird happened to me! my cheeks got swollen & i got bumps all over me! mom said i must've eaten something i was allergic to (she feels bad about it 'cause she gave me a new treat & thinks that's what caused it). but she gave me a little bit of benadryl & now i am all better!!

Little Mamas,
you are such a special little girl. when we first found out that you had scoliosis, my heart just broke for you. i spent a lot of time praying that you would make it through your first year, because the vet thought we would have to put you down. but you proved him wrong, didn't you?
you have so much love inside your itty bitty heart! i love how you bark at Smokey when he tries to pick a fight with your big brother Sarge. i love how much you love people and shower us with doggie kisses every chance you get. and i love watching you run in from the backyard just as fast as the big dogs run!
