Arrival Story:
The outdoor pictures on this site were the first we ever saw of Woody. The Mastiff Rescue worker in Texas emailed them to us before we met the dogs. Mom met the rescue worker halfway and picked up Woody and Baby at a truck stop. The pictures didn't do him justice. He was 169 pounds at the time - which was big but not big enough for his frame. You could see his all his bones! We fostered them for about a month, but the second I saw them I was in love. So we adopted them without hesitation. Now Woody is just a big, fat, furry doofus!

Bio:
230 pounds of pure love. He came to us with the name Woodrow, but he's much too silly for a name like that. We shortened it to Woody - after the bartender on Cheers.
