After two years of sailing we have been around the world twice and in that time have seen pups come and go. I want to thank them all for being with us on our adventures. Hoist the anchor raise the mainsail for we are off to places unknown.
The RXN is a ship that transcends linear time. We may shift centuries, backward and forward or be here in the 21st. There will be no sorrows on my ship, as we leave that far behind us. If you care to reminisce about those among us who have moved on or those now in troubled waters, it must make us laugh and raise our glass to the spirit of those remembered. There will be no discontent on my ship. Whiners will be thrown overboard.
All Great Ships need passengers. So, you may chose to either bide your time on deck chairs, take advantage of all the entertainment, take in the sights, or just watch the moonlight twinkle on the water off the stern. You may stay for a minute, an hour, a day or every minute of our adventure.

We prepare to set sail today, 1/15/07 for a trip to Australia to help my friend Mars Upial, a Koala, who is need, and then, around the world on the West Trade Winds. After a maiden shake down cruise around Manhattan, and a diversion by my boy, Mike, who got in a whole lot of trouble in the Caribbean, We have repaired the chewed woodwork, torn sails, and cleaned the poop deck. If I have told those Beagles once, I've told them a thousand times, it isn't that kind of deck. Anyway, where was I? Oh, yes, we are leaving on the morning tide of 1/16/07.

All Great Ships need a Crew. If you care to work you will be rewarded in bones. Example: Raising a sail will get you One Bone. Climbing the Rat Lines to the Crows Nest will get you Five Bones. Keeping watch will be worth more.
There are hundreds of things that need to be done. Just pick one, post it and My Officers will suggest the proper reward.
Bon Voyage My Friends

TRIBUTE TO ROXANNE
When we first pulled Roxanne from the box filled with her five brothers, the first thing we noticed about her was that she was very timid as she ran and hid under a car when we got the final OK from her, now late, big brother Roscoe. The second, how sweet and gentle she was just by looking into her deep brown eyes and how she hugged her mother the whole way home with us. It took several years to discover how loyal and strong she was inside. Long after her father had been mauled by a badly parented dog, an event which she watched in horror but was too afraid to act, another pair of loose big black dogs came bounding and snarling right at them. She hesitated for a second as if to run, but, turned, dug her heels into the ground, made a noise that sent shivers up my spine, bared her teeth and growled a growl that said “enough, I am here to fight you to the death, so let’s get it on!” That night she changed forever, her timidity transformed into inner strength and an iron will, but she never lost her sweet and gentle nature. During her late years she met the trials and tribulations of poor health head on, with the same determination and strength. She refused to disappoint us by dying. We refused to make her suffer any longer.
She raised and now leaves behind three (two cats and one beagle) of the sweetest and gentlest creatures on the planet, and they will miss her as much as we do. Their unwavering devotion to her in her time of need is a reflection of her heart.
