Arrival Story:
Allie's my first Bearded Collie. Your first one is always special. She was picked out for me by her breeders.

Bio:
Allie's done a lot in her 16 years. She's a retired show champion, agility dog, herding freak and therapy dog. Her age is not keeping her from barking at squirrels and jumping up on the couch. She's in great shape and is growing old gracefully. She's full of adventure and prefers to explore rather than play. Through Allie, I've formed wonderful relationships with other Beardie owners around the country. She was the "flower dog" in my wedding! She sleeps a lot more now but that's ok.

Today was a sad day


I had a seizure today...

My first on ever. All I remember is barking at the birds and other dogs and then I fell over on my side and barked and got stiff.

Mom and Dad are all upset and sobbing over me. They took me to the vet and I'm here for an overnight stay.

The vet says that it's probably a brain tumor since I'm 14.5 and that's a common thing in older dogs.
I don't know what to think right now. Is it time to leave this place for a better one? Guess time will tell.
