Arrival Story:
Shoogies and her little litter of 9 other puppies were thrown into a card board box at about 4 days old. I volunteered to foster 2 of the puppies. Shoogies little brother died within 24 hours. After 8 weeks of taking her to work with me every day and bottle feeding her, it was impossible to think of giving her away. I have had her since about 5 days before her little eyes opened.

I know she told you about the new way we have of leading mom around the block with our noses.... man, did it make all the difference with MOM on a walk.

Mom even behaved worse on walks with me.... she pulled and tugged and jerked back ALL THE TIME. She caught on really quick with me when I took her down our street for the very first time. This nose thingee is FABULOUS.

Of course Little Miss Smarty Pants Rikka got to go to the parade and I did not. (big deal ,.. i would not want to go anyway!) all those pesky little yippy dogs would just drive me over the edge I think!!!

I don't know about this

Mom is going to start a diary of what is up with me. Personally, I think it is a goofy idea. She should spend less time typing and more time playing with me.

I get so upset when Mom ignores me, especially to play with the big "hoity-toity" black dog..... It makes me feel so upset that I grab the nearest soft pillow and suckle with my eyes closed for comfort. Yes, it is like a little baby, but dang-it, I was here first and lost my mom when I was very young, so if i have some issues.... JUST DEAL WITH IT!

Mom says that I have the softest fur in the whole world. She says that the top of my head feels just like velvet. I dont know what that is, but it must be something good. I am betting it would be good fabric to nurse on.

Dad's work partner came over yesterday. I liked him right away and climbed right up on his lap. It was the strangest thing. I prefer to get to know people... sort of a little at a time.. ya know?? just growl at them a time or two, to let them know I am no push-over... then maybe sniff their butt a couple times.... then i let them oooh and ahhh over the black *(ugh) dog... and THEN i come in and become their favorite :) hehehehehe... but this guy... well i just climbed up on him and fell in love right away!

I am going to pull mom away from the computer now and maybe I can talk her into a cookie..... .......
